Chester, Lancaster and York counties are abundant in homeschooling families and these families are abundant in talent. Below is a growing list of our offerings to you. Please contact the families directly to gain more information or to register for their programs. This information is being compiled for the use of all local homeschoolers regardless of Faithful Scholars membership. Basketball
Cleveland County Men's Junior Varsity Homeschool Basketball Team. Practicing out of Kings Mountain, N.C. and open to any high school aged homeschool male from Cleveland and surrounding counties, including those in S.C. The team will belong to the N.C. Home Educators Athletic conference (NCHEAC) and compete against other homeschool teams from across the state as well as local private and charter school teams. Travel will be involved. ACADEMIC PROGRAMS
Classical Conversations is a once a week academic program that can be explained all day long, but not truly understood until you visit a campus for a day. Locally we have campuses in Fort Mill, Indian Land and Rock Hill. Go to the CC website and enter your zipcode in the upper right hand corner to find a campus near you. Mother of Divine Grace - A Catholic Long Distance K-12 School. FINE ARTS
Monday's Artists Fine Arts Program is an affordable fine arts enrichment program taught by hired professionals, meeting every other Monday afternoon for 18 weeks each year to teach public speaking I and II, seeing and sketching, a unique form of watercolor, choru and drama to children ages 5 to 17. www.mondaysartists.com

SCIENCE

Homeschool science workshops designed to give more intense experience in topic areas as well as enhance your home curriculum. Concepts will be taught through the use of several methods including demonstration and activities. A pre-assessment test will give the educator an idea of the level of the participants and a post-assessment will give her an idea of how the information is being received/retained. Each 12 weeks of classes includes a field trip to Discovery Place.

God created nature for us to enJoy! Science is the study of His creation.
Our home school science programs honor the Creator, and inspire students with hands-on experiments that make learning enjoyable. We have our own general science curricula for ages 6 to 11, and offer the Apologia science courses for ages 12 and up. The courses are year long, with meetings every two weeks to allow your home school to gain outside support whilst retaining it's unique home school character. We teach a year long Creation Science class for teenagers, parents welcomed too.

CBS is a national, interdenominational Bible study group with local leadership in the Clover/Lake Wylie area. It is open to all women and of all knowledge levels. Register in fall for classes beginning the end of August. Next years study will be the Gospel of Mark and Paul’s Letter to the Ephesians. A wonderful Children’s Ministry Program is available currently for nursery – first grade. Space is limited.
